with "Bring Me Home With You"

Hugo Negrelli releases, this Friday, the 15th, “Bring Me Home With You”, the advance single from his second album of originals. The expected successor to “Loose Frame Tales” will be released and performed live later this year.

Recorded in London, at the mythical Livingston Studios (The Clash, Buena Vista Social Club, Bjork, Manic Street Preachers, REM, Sam Smith, David Byrne, Michael Kiwanuka, Ben Howard, Ali Farka Toure, and The Smiths), “Bring Me Home With You” has music and lyrics by Hugo Negrelli. Produced by himself, it features Paul Gregory (drums), Nick Walsh (bass), Steve Pringle (keyboards), and Emilie Dollerup (second voices).

The voice and guitar continue to be the vehicle for Hugo Negrelli to communicate with the public and in “Bring Me Home With You” the interpretation is free. “A song where I explored new styles of writing, composition, and genre. A song that came from a different place. It is clearly a love song, open, however, to each person’s interpretation”, he explains.

The music video is directed by Joana Linda and was filmed at Tapada Nacional de Mafra.
